Managed to wrangle up a handful of players interested in the game. They've all enjoyed it, but the major issue is the game's staying power.
The CCG players are accustomed to a constant flow of new content to keep the game fresh, while the board gamers are interested in some kind of "Legacy" mechanic for a reason to come back and play again.
Is there any interest in developing some kind of league/campaign play where players' gain access to new cards, equipment, etc. over the course of a "season"? Some examples of successful games are MtG and other CCG/LCGs, Risk Legacy, Blood Bowl, and Dreadball.
